Orifice Plates

Mac-Weld orifice plates are manufactured to our quality controlled production from raw material to bore gauge inspection thru packaging. Stainless Steel plates are specifically purchased and individual plates are then water cut to ensure no distortion this also allows the handle to be an integral part with no welding up to 12".
Plates are bored to exact sizes and bore gauges used to ensure tolerances are maintained Jigs/fixtures are used to ensure the required flatness is also maintained.
Surface finish to 15-30 micro-inch is controlled by special finishing machines that are designed to preserve flatness.
Stamping/Identification, plates are lightly stamped to show the material, heat number, tag number, rating, bore size.
Inspection and packaging are all part of the complete package to ensure the plates get to our customers correctly.
